We had a great trip to SMA this winter and decided that it would be a great place to spend more time in the winter. I'm not the best vacationer over long periods of time so putting on a workshop in the area seemed like a good idea, keep my wife and partner Cathey happy and me occupied in an activity that I love.
After casting about for a good place to give a ceramic workshop in raku, slip casting and mould making we were fortunate to meet up with Blanc Garcia, a fellow potter with a beautiful, spacious studio and a native of SMA.
We are really looking forward to our return next February and feel this is going to be the first of many ceramic workshops in the area. More information to come.
