I have been working with Raku since early 1970 and find it a versatile decorative style, fitting into a wide range of decors.  The range of Raku colors was chosen to blend in and bridge to colors in your home.   Some of the raku colors are traditional and some contemporary.

The pottery is all cast from my originals which makes the shapes and sizes very consistent and delivery times predictable.  The Raku glazes have a random quality and can vary depending on glaze thickness and firing conditions.  It is always a subjective call in ceramics as to what is a technical flaw or an aesthetic quality, I do my best to make that distinction on a piece to piece basis, please keep this in mind if you have a low tolerance for glaze inconsistencies.

Cachepots or orchid planters have been a main stay of this line for many years, a cache pot or flower bowl is an ideal choice for your favorite orchid or exotic flora.


Urns for ashes or Fetish pots are a good choice for a decorative accent, or a custom container for the ashes of a loved one.
